Congregational Year Book Reports Due March 15 One

Year Book Reports from congregations covering calendar year 2015 are due by March 15, covering a few details about membership and finances. Sample forms in English and Spanish, as well as instructions, can be found on the ccsw.org website. Contact Bonnie Schuler in the Southwest Region office at 817-926-4687 or ccsw@ccsw.org for 1) your congregation's PIN and Serial Number if the postcard didn't make it yet to the person who needs it, 2) a paper copy of the form mailed to you, or 3) assistance in completing the form (helps to have your year-end financial information and tally of membership and attendance information).

Mission West Youth leaders will meet at 9 pm this Friday and Saturday in Ceta Lodge at Ceta Canyon to review a proposal to make 3 area Children's and Youth Committees in to One Mission West Outdoor Ministry Team, Evaluate Mid Winter Retreat & Rally, Continue planning for 2016 summer camps, and a few housekeeping items.  Visit the youth section of our website to download the proposal, agenda, and supporting documents.

SABBATICAL FOR KARAKAY Nine

August 2015 was the three year anniversary of Karakay accepting the calling to be the Associate Area Minister for what is now Mission West.  Per her calling agreement she has earned a 1 month sabbatical.  She will be taking this sabbatical for the month of March.  Alex Smith will be answering all youth questions during this time, her telephone number is 512-971-9411 and email is alexsmith.westmont@gmail.com.  Please contact Charlotte for all other needs at 915-525-1209 or via email at choppe@ccsw.org.  

 

 

 

 

NORTH TEXAS AREA LEADER AND LEARNER JAN. 31   Eleven

This annual event will be held from 9 - 3 at First Christian Church of McKinney on Saturday, January 30. Registration begins at 8:30.  Rev. Herb Lynskey, a former Area Minister and seasoned spiritual adviser, will deliver the keynote and teach two workshops on Spirituality afterwards. There will also be a couple of dozen other workshops, and the schedule will allow participants to choose three workshops during the day.
