“Making Music ~lksjdf~ Monte Vista Christian Church”

 
 
A non-auditioned, after school music program for 2nd through 8th graders.
All music levels accepted. Taught by certified music teachers.
Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Monte Vista Christian Church building.
 
8-week sessions, $50.00 per 8-week session
with partial & full scholarships available, based on need.
 
Snack provided. Children with later school dismissal times may come later than 1:00.
 
Goals:
 
 To provide a quality music program that builds relationships within the
community.
 To cultivate the joy of music through expanded opportunities for musical
experiences in a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
 To practice social skills, such as, community, creativity, cooperation, working
as a team and individual contribution.
 To provide safe and healthy activities for after school hours.
 To supplement and reinforce the APS Fine Arts Music program.
 Music in the genre of classical, jazz, gospel, multicultural, folk and many
others will be presented.
