Sat, March 23, 2019 2:30pm - 4:00pm events:Education Sunday School Teacher Training The Christian Education (Children and Youth) Ministry is sponsoring a training event on Saturday March 23rd from 2:30 to 4:00 PM in Bethany Hall. The topic for this training is the Moral Development of Children. Our facilitator for the training will be Don Hamilton. All individuals working with children and youth, as well as those who might consider this rewarding activity, are encouraged to attend. The afternoon will begin at 2:30 with refreshments and a brief Christian Education update. Don will begin his presentation at 3:00 PM and we will be finished by 4:00. Because the important topic of moral development is not given the central place in our society that physical development and scholastic development are, the Christian Education Ministry is opening the training to parents or any other person interested in exploring the topic. Moral development is not necessarily correlated with chronological age. You might be interested in checking out where your moral development registers on some of the available scales.
