  • Church School on Sundays offers an array of classes:
    • A warm and pleasant nursery
    • Elementary Classes
    • Youth Classes
    • Adult Classes (Bible-related, interactive discussions, current issues, etc.)

  • Electives offered from time to time

  • Dynamic Summer Camping Program
    • Camps for all ages beginning with second grade
    • Beautiful camp facilities at the Black River Center for Learning near Carlsbad

    • Learning about God in the great outdoors

  • An All-Church Retreat is held each year in God’s beautiful outdoors. It is a wonderful time of learning and growing in one’s faith. The retreat is held each year in August at Inlow Baptist Camp in the Manzano Mountains. One can register through the church office.

  • A Lenten School of Religion is held during the six weeks leading to Easter. This is a united endeavor with other congregations in the Albuquerque area, and six classes are offered on a variety of subjects. The classes are held on Sundays beginning at 4:00 p.m. Classes and Sites are listed under Seasonal Events.

  • The Dorothy Turner Ecumenical Memorial Seminar is held annually at Monte Vista. This seminar, established to explore issues of concern to a broad cross-section of the community, brings in outstanding speakers and offers "cutting edge" information for community and health professionals. Call or email the church for further information.
